Chinese high-carbon ferrochrome prices fell last week.
Prices of low carbon ferrochrome and silicon chromium have fallen due to weak market demand. As the price of high-carbon ferrochrome in the Chinese market fell, the price of high-carbon ferrochrome imported into China fell.
Due to the inactive market, high-carbon ferrochrome is at the same price level at the ports of Rotterdam and Pittsburgh; low-carbon ferrochromium is at the same price level at the ports of Rotterdam and Pittsburgh.
Due to weak market demand, the Chinese port prices of South African chrome ore and Turkish chrome ore have declined; China’s imported South African chrome ore and Turkish chrome ore CIF prices have declined.
Industry insiders predict that mainstream prices will remain stable from today to the next three days.
