Today we shipped 50 tons of Silicon metal to Tianjin Port, ready to be shipped to Durres Port Albania. This shipment will arrive in Albania in 45 days. During this period, we prepare CCIC test for customers, carry out the whole process of transportation and purchase insurance, and provide customs clearance documents.

Application of high carbon silicon

Silicon carbon alloy is a new type alloy apply to revolving furnace. It can replace deoxidizing alloy such as Ferrosilicon, Silicon Carbide as well as reduce the dosage of deoxidizers. With less dosage, also lower the cost of steelmaking. It can make the steel better chemical component, better mechanical property than traditional deoxidizers. Its effect is very stable and obviously the low price made its excellent cost performance.

Today, Vietnamese customer's order -100 tons of silicon metal 553 3303 have been sent to Tianjin Port. They are packed in 4 containers. The next shipment of 100 tons will be completed in a week. Before delivery, our factory will conduct product composition analysis and testing, and then send the samples to SGS for relevant element testing according to customer requirements. Summary of output of overseas ferrochrome enterprises in 2022

Glencore's output of ferrochrome in the fourth quarter of 2022 was 378000 tons, an increase of 16.7% on a month-on-month basis. The total output of ferrochrome in 2022 reached 1488000 tons, an increase of 1.36% on a year-on-year basis. The output of ferrochrome is expected to remain stable in 2023.
